Overview

 

Change is no longer an occasional disruption that organizations manage and move on from. It is a permanent feature of modern working life, and the ability to lead people through it is one of the most critical leadership capabilities of our time. This program equips leaders with a modern, human-centered approach to change management, blending proven frameworks with contemporary insights into psychology, communication, and resilience. Participants explore how people experience change at an individual, team, and organizational level, and develop the practical skills to reduce resistance, build commitment, and sustain momentum. From crafting compelling communication plans to identifying change champions and managing the emotional journey of their team, leaders leave with both the confidence and the toolkit to make change work.

Learning Outcomes. Participants will be able to:

  • Explain how people experience change and apply the emotional cycle of change to support their team through each stage

  • Use the ADKAR model and Kotter's 8-Step Process to plan and lead change with a structured, proven approach

  • Identify individual motivators for change and tailor their leadership approach to meet people where they are

  • Develop a clear, compelling change communication plan that reduces uncertainty and builds trust

  • Create a sense of urgency while maintaining psychological safety and team wellbeing

  • Identify and activate change champions to build grassroots momentum and peer-level influence

  • Navigate resistance constructively, addressing concerns with empathy, evidence, and clarity

  • Apply resilience-building strategies to support their team's wellbeing throughout periods of sustained change

  • Evaluate the progress and outcomes of a change initiative and embed new behaviors for lasting impact
